I started out as an ad agency copywriter several…ahem…decades ago working on everything from print ads to tv commercials, and winning lots of awards along the way. In 1998, my partners and I founded our own agency. After we sold our agency to the largest agency conglomerate in the world, I started my solo freelance company, Pink Fuzzy Slippers. (If we become friends, I’ll tell you the story behind the name.)
Because of my experience in the health and wellness industry, I chose to focus my talents in the area of health and wellness. In addition to being a solo marketing professional, I am also a principal and creative director of FEED. The Agency, a health marketing agency. What all this means is that when it comes to helping my clients get results, I know what it takes and how to get there.
With my deep experience and skills, I know what it takes to get results for my clients and how to make every marketing dollar count. And because I specialize in the health and wellness market, I understand the language, the industry, the competition, and the consumer. So take a look around. If you like what you see, give me a call or shoot me an email and I’ll take it from there.

As a solo professional, I have worked with hundreds of different clients – from B2B and B2C companies to healthcare organizations and consumer products. Because of my affinity for the health market, in 2014 I chose to specialize and concentrate my talents in health and wellness. I don’t turn down work in other industries, but health is where I choose to focus.
In addition to being a solo professional, my business partner and I also run FEED. The Agency, an award-winning healthcare brand agency engaged by physicians, surgeons, dentists, and health products firms who want to creatively differentiate themselves in their local marketplace and in the mindset of their ideal customers. At FEED, I write, design, and deliver everything from websites to logos to advertising campaigns.
As founder and EVP/Creative Director, I helped take SSX from a start-up with 18 employees to one of the region’s largest ad agencies with over 160 employees and some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Proctor & Gamble, Walmart, and Coca-Cola. I single-handedly built the creative engine that drove the success of SSX, hiring and managing a talented group of art directors, copywriters, designers, and production artists.
I started my career here as a junior copywriter and worked my way up to Associate Creative Director. I wrote and produced countless award-winning print, radio, and television campaigns while managing projects and deadlines to ensure projects came in on budget and on time.
In my career, I have received well over 250 industry awards (that’s when I quit counting), including local, regional, and national Addy Awards. My work has also appeared in Print’s Regional Design Annual, Communication Arts Magazine, and the New York Art Directors’ Club Annual.
Whether you’re a health marketing agency, a health/wellness product company, a hospital, a practice — or something in between — you can rest assured that my insider’s perspective will help give you the edge you need to lead.
